It is great to have a WordPress “Premium” Student Project to work with and play with as you grow your business and website in the Website Marketing Workshop! A premium project will allow you to try out and experiments with different themes, plugins and ‘stuff’ in private without worrying about your customers (or competitors) seeing your work before it’s ready. AND you don’t have to worry about breaking your live site as you’ll be experimenting with things in your premium student project before implementing it on your live site.
If your current site is WordPress you can have my team take a copy of it and put it in your practice student project so you can update, refresh it and try stuff out in a safe place. When you are finished, you can then transfer the updated look and replace your live site.
NOTE: If in the process of copying your site into the practice area, if we notice that it is very outdated it will not be compatible with our accounts. There may be an extra charge if you’d like us to update your site for you. We will communicate with you if this is a problem.
What is a “Premium” Student Project?
It’s a ready-to-use WordPress “Student Project” website pre-installed for you on my servers. This is your “project” area for you to work in. It’s hidden from the search engines, so that you can play around and test out your ideas privately.
The Benefits are:
- You won’t clutter up your live site.
- You won’t break your live site experimenting with things in it.
- Your customers and competitors won’t see your experimenting.
- We can go inside your “Premium” Student Project site during the Q&A webinars to help you.
Here’s How This Works:

- Once we receive your payment, our team will proceed to install a “Premium” Student Project for you on our servers. OR if you’re currently working on or have a student project we can move it to your new premium student project. (Note. This will NOT be your final web hosting server; it’s a place for you to practice and get help and advice from the WCW Team during a live webinar.) If your site is live and WordPress, we can also take a copy of it and put it in your premium student project.
- You will have access to this new “Premium” Student Project as long as you are a current paying member of the Website Marketing Workshop. Should you decide to cancel your WMW membership, we will shut off your access to your “Premium” Student Project, and you will not be able to use it as a practice project.
